    Windows 7 64-bit compatibility with 32-bit programs

    Thanks for any help.
Program was written using Windows XP Pro on a 32-bit computer.
It also runs on Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.
Person is having trouble running the program on a Windows 7 64-bit
    computer.
What are my options to assist this person?
Is there a compatibility mode in Windows7 64-bit to run 32-bit programs?
What about a virtual box under these conditions?
    I don't own a 64-bit computer at this time

Use Compatibility Mode or XP Mode
Windows XP Mode - Install and Setup

Most 32-bit programs(excluding ancients ones) will work on 64-bit versions of windows unless these use 32-bit drivers.

The same compatibility mode is available in Windows 7 x64, simply by right-clicking the shortcut for the program and choosing an older OS. The one big hurdle is if the app is a 16-bit program, or uses a 16-bit installer.
