Windows 7 - Why is the context menu in Start Menu and Taskbar so small?

| | Why is the context menu in Start Menu and Taskbar so small?  I know that the full version can be achieved while holding the shift key, but is there way to bypass that and have the regular full sized menu by default? |

| | If you dispense with the Start menu and just use the All Programs menu then a right-click does indeed reveal a fully expanded context menu without having to press the Shift key. It would seem that because the Start Menu is just a way of pinning your favourite programs it only reveals a truncated context menu unless you use the Shift key with the right-click combo. Other than editing the system registry I don't know whether what you want can be done. |
