WMP or User Account Problems ??

I've created a guest account on my PC (no adm. priviliges)

When I open the Media Player in the guest account, the library is empty, can't

figure out how to load music files.

Any suggestions?

My guess is because all of the music files are located under the "My" folders under another account, and the guest account can't access them.

I have never stored any of my user data on the C volume for reasons very similar to this. I would think if you had a second drive, such as D, and stored your music there, you could point WMP to that location under the guest account and have access to the files.

Thanks for the reply
What you are saying is to create a partition , name it E:drive or whatever then put a music folder in that drive and direct the media player to that drive to load the llibrary?

Yes. It's personal preference, but I always move my optical drive to E and keep my data drive as D. On the root of D, I have a folder called Music, with all of my music stored inside. I use MediaMonkey, but I point that to the D:\Music folder and that's it.
