What kind of troubleshooting tests do I need to run is it mem test or any other test tell me.

More than the MemTest i think the OP needs to check his power supply.Electricity supply in India is rather erratic and in my opinion sudden fluctuation in voltage is the reason behind the unexpected shutdown of his system.

@Gautam Do you have UPS connected to your pc??

Agreed, I said in my original post on the first page that it could be a PSU issue...

Try Memtest to rule out the RAM. Personally I would also swap out the PSU.

in reality; from what i have experienced with older versions of windows; when a system restarts like that it is almost always been a hardware related issue from what i have experienced. I had my 7 year old dell do that before i got this new system up and running and I discovered it had something to do with a outdated driver for something called the intel matrix storage manager which has something to do with storage on the hard drives. Well updating that driver fixed the problem in my case; so u might want to try checking the system for updated drivers for the hard drives.

Random restarts problem
Hi I am getting random restart/reboot.. I would be doing something and the system would just reboot/restart... I am not sure if it shutdown and then powers back on or it just restarts but it would restart the pc randomly.. There is no BSOD..

Boot screen Problem: The XP option restarts the PC
Hi. I had W7 7057 & XP running Fine, Dual Boot was working fine On The Same Disk but different partition: c: / W7 7057 d: / XP To install the W7 RC 7100 i've formatted the c: partition and installed on it. No problems at all during installation. W7 RC is running Fine.
