assign read/write priviliges to entire hd

hi everyone!
after a system crash, i find that there are several folders on one of my hds without read/write priviliges. so in short: i cannot access those folders. allocating those priviliges via > properties > security > users etc helps solve the problem - however unfortunately only for the very folder i am working with and not its subfolders. is there a chance i can allocate the read/write priviliges to an entire disk with all its folders and subfolders?

thanks for reading
