    Password - Create for a User Account

    If you see a Change your password link instead of a Create a password for your account link, and you have Password protected under your user name in User Accounts (Control Panel), then your account has a password currently created for it.

    You would need to have a password for your user account so you will have to enter the password at log in.

    i opened control panel,
    and
    went to user acct',
    clicked link 'change your windows password'
    and
    clicked link 'create a password for your acct',

    be able to create new password without entering old password,
    guess i did not have password.

    i read windows magazine almost a year ago,
    and tried to shorten booting time.

    so
    i made new password, and it works.
