JoeMJV, does a system restore restore your system back to default settings? Because I wouldn't want that

Yep a system restore would restore the registry to its default so it's recommended that you create a restore point.
Don't forget to restart or re-log after you have merged the registry file

By the way, That's not my Registry File, I just got it from this

NOTE THAT: Libraries is a folder that appears in the right-pane. It's not the right-pane!

Hello IJmir,

Then try the following command using Command Console
  • Open the Start Menu
  • Select "Run..."
  • Insert the following
Code:
cmd /c reg.exe import (REG Entry File Location)

Hello IJmir,

If you are unable to merge the REG file from Joe's post above, then check in Default Programs to set the reg file extension to have it's Current Default program set as Registry Editor (C:\Windows\regedit.exe). Afterwards, try merging the REG file again.
