"Include in library" option suddenly missing from Windows Explorer

For no apparent reason, the function "include in library" in Windows Explorer (right click on a folder to include it in a library) is not longer there. It used to be. But now when I right click on a folder in Windows Explorer, it's simply not there anymore. Does anybody know how to restore it?
Or alternatively: does anybody know how to add music files to Playlists in Windows Mediaplayer without having to use libraries (like in previous versions of Windows)?

I did SFC Scannow, but still "include in libraries" does not appear when right clicking on folders in Windows Explorer

Try Post #2 here, but instead of disabling, do the opposite (enable).
Remove 'Include in Library' in context menu or you could try SIW2 's other posts. If none help, please report back.

    shexviewX86.zip doesn't open

Infinite, when I click on shexviewX86.zip I get a blank page. The X64 one opens fine, but not the X86

    Hello IJmir,
I Did not try this so I recommend you to do a system restore before proceeding
Download the following archive and open the Registry Entry file "EnableLibrariesFeature.reg" and then click on "YES". Then re-log or restart your computer.

    Thank you :)

    ADDLIBCONTMEN.zip

Double clicking on ADDLIBCONTMEN.zip doesn't do the trick either and when I right click I don't get the option 'merge'

    Hey IJmir,
Can we make sure that Registry Editor applet is the current associated file with .REG files?

    • Right-click the .REG file and select Open With
    • Select "Registry Editor" from the list

If you can NOT see "Registry Editor"

    • Right-click the .REG file and select Open With
    • Click on "Browse.."
    • Type in the file name: %SYSTEMROOT%\regedit.exe
    • Click OK

    Thank you :)
