Black screen on bOot up

    Black screen on bOot up


    When I boot up my computer I get a black screen with my cursor. What can I do? This happened when i installed a skin at skinpacks.com can anyone please help thanks

    Do you have your windows disc ? You could try a startup repair.

    Hi chubbyDawn, Can you boot into safe mode? Safe Mode if you can then do a system restore prior to when you enabled the skin System Restore hope this helps :)

    When I run it as safe mode it's just the same I get black screen.

    We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
    & made the Startup Repair CD.
    startup repair disc-create


    Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

    I can't I can't see any thing but the black screen and the mouse cursor. Nothing else and I do have the disks.
