Hi, I'm Jim.
Been using Windows 7 since RC, really like it.
I work in a small school system in NE Texas, and have recently been given the responsibility of preparing for schoolwide deployment of Windows 7 this summer...these forums have been a very timely discovery for me! Thank you all so much for the input and discussions.
The step-by-step for creating a default profile in Windows 7 was what had me discover this forum, and it's just gotten better for me since
Hopefully at some point I can contribute something useful, but at the moment I just need to transition from XP to 7 for the school.
I really like 7 from a personal perspective, but am finding it to be a major PITA in the enterprise sector (seriously...something as simple as a default profile shouldn't have us poking around the registry to make it work! Especially if a major change needs to be made after deploying a lab...but I digress)
Looking forward to learning a lot to help me with this transition!
Thanks
