Windows 7 - My Configuration: 32 or 64?

Hello folks, i have the folowwing PC:
AMD 64 3800 single core
4gb DDR2 800
HD 160gb
Video 256mb

Should i install 32 or 64 version?

I hate single cores, but I'd suggest trying out 64-bit and seeing how it feels, if you don't like it just go back to 32-bit. Honestly even with a 64-bit CPU, its a single core which means it will fill up easier.

I think the fact that it's an AMD 64 processor should alone be enough to identify it as 64-bit.

Its been a long day for both Ken (Zig) and myself, so its easy to miss the slightest thing.

To be honest, I missed it to. I went to cut and paste it into a google search and saw it then. Not gonna lie.

Now that my esteemed colleagues have determined that you have the choice, the question remains.

I offer this reminder only in deferrence to SF members who often make plausible arguments for maintaining a 32-bit OS.

I count myself, with present company, in that number who would reply - by all means, run the 64-bit version.

After verifying the availability of 64-bit drivers.
