    Question about upgrading

I have Windows 7 Ultimate RC on a laptop and Vista Ultimate on my desktop. I'm getting Windows 7 Ultimate this weekend through MSDN account.

Do I have to completely reinstall over the RC or will a key change take care of it?

Since the version I'm getting is a full version and not just an upgrade, will it, by default, do a clean install over my Vista OS?

You'll find almost everyone here will suggest clean-installs, because they tend to not cause issues that may arise from an upgrade.

My suggestion of course, is a clean install. =) Also, it is possible to upgrade from RC to RTM but again, suggest a clean install.

Sorry if I misinterpreted your question.

Yes you can upgrade but, as stressed on above, do a clean install. :) ( + 100 stress points.. lol)

Thanks. I sort of figured that would be the answer.
