Chinese characters appear as squares in windows' title bars at random.
I've set up my Windows 7 ultimate to display chinese characters.
But recently I noticed that at random, the windows title bars will fail to display chinese characters, appearing as boxes. Although the chinese text in the content area is unharmed.
The chinese text in IE9's bookmarks is also affected.
The strange thing is that it worked just a couple of hours before.
eg. I opened a chinese website in chrome or IE9, chinese chracters look fine in the tab title.
I left the browser window open to do other stuff like reading mail, play a game, chatting in messenger.
alt-tab back to the browser, the chinese characters turned into squares.
Discovered that , without tweaking any settings, I just logged off, then log back in (without rebooting pc), the fonts worked again.
However, when I tried to re-open the programs in the sequence that I opened before, I couldn't reproduce the error.
