    Computer freezes randomly, not sure of cause.


    Hi, I've been having problems with my computer freezing randomly. It generally for about 5 seconds or so, usually when browsing using Firefox. Also, the mouse cursor doesn't change when highlighting a link or highlighting text, it sometimes turns yellow so I can't see it.

    Any ideas?

    Reinstall Flashplayer in Control Panel.

    Try IE to see if the same thing happens.

    If not disable Firefox Add-on's one by one to see which is causing it. You may only need Flashplayer and Java.

    If this doesn't help try uninstalling Firefox saving only Bookmarks, reinstall the latest version.

    If it proves not to be Firefox causing the issue, work through these troubleshooting steps until you find the problem.
