How do i get a shortcut to open two folders

Hi,

I want to create a shortcut that opens a folder that shows two folders inside.
I want this because i want to create a shortcut (Programs) that shows Program Files and Program Files (x86) in one folder.

Thanks,
Alex.

First create a folder called Programs.
Next use mklink to create Symbolic links to Program Files and Program Files (x86) inside Programs.
Place a shortcut to Programs on the Desktop.

mklink /? for usage info.

Forgot to mention, you do this from an Elevated Command prompt.

To be honest, I'm not sure what is your purpose here, the control panel tells you which programs you have installed, but if you want to see two folders at the same time, you might want to create a new Library, add the folders you want to it (not limited to two, but works for two as well), and then open the Library instead of the actual folders.

The details on how to add folders to a Library are given in this tutorial. At the bottom of it you will find links to other tutorials on Libraries.

Hope this helps.
