Hello,
When I installed the W7 Ultimate, I think I went into user accounts as admin and disabled the Guest account. During another problem that let me to secpol.msc, I was addressing some issue and noted that there was as entry that said that the Guest Account was still enabled. Being green behind the ears, this deep and getting a warning about some sort of future none functionality if I disabled it, I left it as it was. Should I disable the Guest account in secpol.msc, I will never allow anyone on my computer without my permission. No Guest Account is visible as an option. Thanks for any opinions and/or advice!
Glenn

Howdy codekiddy,
I do believe that is how I did it originally. But when I went into secpol, msc to disable and clean my start-up menu I just happened to notice on line that said the the Guest Account was enabled. When I went to properties, as it was not checked in a snippet example that a member posted I became concerned. I do not have the expertise to just go ahead and disable it, especially in secpol.msc!! Thanks buddy!
Glenn

Also currently my windows machine is busy and I am on my linux box and can't double check. But I will take a look like you explained!
