    Moving typing error when typing

    hello everyone

I changed my OS form vista to windows 7 home premium 32bit, since changing I'm facing problem when I'm typing.

The typing arrow move by its self while typing. for example if I'm writing a sentence the arrow suddenly move to beginning of the sentence or middle etc.

    example : *I'm typing now* - * I'm tynowping*

its like I'm clicking there but I'm not!

I'm using Lenovo T400 and I updated all the drivers.

    Dear Luna333,
Welcome! Sorry for the delay. Are you using a mouse OR the Touch pad(laptop). A moving cursor is quite common for laptops. I guess there is a way to disable the touch pad and allow use of the mouse.

    Regards and best wishes,

Kindly click open control panel> click open Hardware and Sound> click open Devices and Printers> (In my case) click on the Laptop Icon> Pointing Devices> Un tick the option "Enable Built-in pointing device".

That should cure the "mysterious case of the entwined and confusing text due to a moving cursor" and start using a USB Mouse.

    Best wishes,

You can also turn off "Tap to click" in the Mouse/Touchpad settings. This is usually what causes the problem.
