Very long wait time after booting into windows
I've executed sfc / scannow and it says there are errors it cannot fix and shows that it has provided a log that contains this:
So what happens is that when windows loads up and Im presented with my desktop the harddrive LED lights up and says lit for like 10mins before I can start using my computer, its like trying to read something that it cant so Im guessing its the files above, is there a way that I can perform a total system repair w/o having to reinstall everything or losing my data? My windows 7 installer dvd is the very first one that came out, no SP1 included but I have it downloaded already.. or is there an easier way ?Code:2012-02-27 15:26:58, Info CSI 000002f4 [SR] Verify complete 2012-02-27 15:26:58, Info CSI 000002f5 [SR] Repairing 1 components 2012-02-27 15:26:58, Info CSI 000002f6 [SR] Beginning Verify and Repair transaction 2012-02-27 15:27:15, Info CSI 000002f7 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"hidserv.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-HID-USER, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2012-02-27 15:27:26, Info CSI 000002f8 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"hidserv.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-HID-USER, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2012-02-27 15:27:26, Info CSI 000002f9 [SR] This component was referenced by [l:202{101}]"Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7601.17514.WindowsFoundationDelivery" 2012-02-27 15:28:00, Info CSI 000002fa [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:46{23}]"\??\C:\Windows\System32"\[l:22{11}]"hidserv.dll"; source file in store is also corrupted 2012-02-27 15:28:06, Info CSI 000002fb Repair results created:
EDIT:
To add im currently running a disk scan from a software called Active@ harddrive monitor and it shows I have a 'bad block' at the beginning of my drive.. is there a software that can permanently mark this bad block if its not repairable?
