Difference between W7 Home premium & Ultimate 64 bit. Hello there,
I'm really new to the whole computer stuff, I was wondering what's the difference between those too? Also which one's better? Cause I currently have the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit disk. But I currently have Windows 7 home premium installed.
Which ones better?
Thanks! | My System Specs |

Hello Dawn,
It's really not a matter of which one is better, but instead which one has the features that you need or want included in it or not. Saying that, Ultimate has all features included where Home Premium doesn't. The link below can help you compare what features are included in each of these editions to help you decide which one is better for you. Compare Windows 7 Editions
Hope this helps,

Microsoft puts up a chart that's easy to find and use: Compare Windows - Microsoft Windows
There is no better version. It's what version fits your needs. If there's no additional benefit to you to run Ultimate, don't bother. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 Memory 12 GB Patriot Extreme DDR3-1333 Graphics Card Nvidia GTX 470 Monitor(s) Displays Dell UltraSharp 2209WA PSU OCZ ModStream 700W Case CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Cooling CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives OCZ Agility3 240 GB, WD5001AALS, WD7501AALS |

It`s not complicated at all, my advice to you is do a lot of research b4 you even attempt anything with your pc. So many people are coming here and say I did this or I did that and now my pc won`t start. If it`s running fine then don`t mess with it, just use it. There is excellent help here and many tutorials on how to do different things.
