Windows 7: out of memory and a commit memory use of 30000000

Ok, it's highly likely an issue with the program leaking then :/ (Well or a 3rd party plugin or something).

Hard to believe you are the only person they ever heard of having the problem. But maybe you are unfortunately exploiting the ONE THING that leaks or simply overuses memory (though it should pay attention to it's own limits) somehow in your project

Dunno what more to suggest as I don't know the program itself... but it does look like it is contained to the program rather than a system memory leak.

Quick question regarding commit memory and pagefile
I recently disabled my pagefile to see how it would affect the total commit usage in task manager. I have noticed that the commit usage is higher than the ram usage. Does this mean that Windows is paging to the SSD/HDD anyway? So in effect, if there is 300MB paged elsewhere, I can't use all 8GB of...
