HP 2020 printer CD not recognizing me as admin

I just upgraded to a new HP computer and bought a HP 2020 laser jet printer. When I try to do the install with the CD it gets to a certain point and stops telling me that it can't go further because I need to be logged on as administrator. I double checked and I AM logged on as that. I've Googled for answers but can't seem to pinpoint anything.
Have updated my drivers and that didn't seem to help so I'm still stuck.
Does anyone have any solutions for me that might work?
Any help would be most appreciated as it's costing me time and money at this point.
    Thanks.

Hawker, first I'd go to HPs website and download the latest appropriate 32 or 64 bit driver from there. Try temporarily turning UAC off or down then right click on the Setup.exe file for the HP driver and select Run as Administrator. Click the Start button and type UAC into the search box then click User Access Control in the list.

    Dear Hawker38,
Have you "activated" the Administrator account? If not, here's the way you do it.
Click on START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES> COMMAND PROMPT>Right click AND CHOOSE>RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR > Paste this command> net user administrator /active:yes > You can specify the password by pasting this Command >net user administrator password
Log off and restart. Courtesy:How To: Activate Hidden Windows 7 Administrator Account | TomsTricks.Com
    Kindly post back the result!
    regards,
