How to remove Caps Lock Pop-up?

I recently bought a SAMSUNG 300E5A Series 3 which included Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The computer itself runs brilliant and I have no problems with it. What does irritate me completely is the annoying pop-up that occurs when you press the caps lock button. Does anybody know how to disable this?

Hey there. Same problem here on my Samsung notebook. Identified the problem process as dmhkcore.exe which is a part of the samsung program "Easy Settings" which is installed via "Easy Software Manager"

I tried turning it off, but it rendered my function keys completely unusable. That means no volume control, no display toggle and no function pad toggle. Somebody said it was able to be disabled by an option in "Easy Display" but installing this practically broke the entire functionality of my function keys.

I managed to install Easy Settings again after a lot of thrashing through unreliable internet sites. Long story short, don't try any funny business if you want your function keys to work.

I stopped looking for a solution two weeks ago. I wanted to post here to let the user above know that the screenshot of the popup in your link isn't even remotely close to the one provided by the original poster here. We know how to use Google and how to read.

Even if you're just trying to help, it seems a bit insincere when you presumably just link some random Google search you took two seconds to perform.

WORKAROUND - Use AUTOHOTKEY (AutoHotkey - Free Mouse and Keyboard Macro Program with Hotkeys and AutoText) and remap Caps lock to another key or combination of keys. If you use caps lock as a hotkey for a video game, that pretty much makes the key usable again.

Use of the CAPS LOCK key is rare outside of binding it to a function. My recommendation is to change CAPS LOCK to CTRL, CTRL to a macro of a common function (Say... window key + D to show desktop?).

Anyway, the question is still out there. There's still the problem of other crap popping up... the worst part about the whole thing is that when you CLICK the damn images, it tabs you out of whatever you were doing...

    Hope this post was helpful
