    window maximizes when it touches the top of the screen... :(


    hello
    how can I disable this automatic feature ?
    I do not want to maximize my windows, just push them out of the way now and then !!!

    Go to control panel -> ease of access center and click the "Change how your mouse works" link, and scroll downto the "Make it easier to manage windows" section. Check the box that says "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen".

It seems by design in Windows 7, a window will maximize if dragged to the top of the display. It seems to work, but I would like to say I don't really want it to do that. I move windows to the top of my display all the time just to use all the available space so I do not like it maximining if I go...
