If the programs installed on your computer aren't being run in any manner then uninstalling them will have zero affect on performance. You'll gain disk space, but no performance increase.

Cool. But what I really like, is that hamburger thing/picture.

Two other good tools to have handy:

1) Startup Inspector for Windows - Download

Let's you know what is loading on startup and provides an easy way to disable (or re-enable) things.

2) Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

The free version is very good. I liked it so much I bought the Pro one. It is a good way to uninstall a program and make sure you get all the little files and registry entries that Windows sometimes leaves behind.

Read through it, couldn't figure it out. I dont want a Big Ad. type thing. I merely want a quote inserted in my posts.
It drives me crazy that, I can comprehend complex, abstract, out of the box things..and yet not be able to do the most simple tasks on a computer.
so try this: Explain as you would,to a 4 yr. old..or a Labrador, how to insert into ones replies/ posts..a little quotation at the bottom.

It would be better to stop unnecessary startup programs to speed up computer while booting.
