Explorer.exe restarting on File or Folder Context Menu - BEX64

My Windows 7 64-bit Explorer.exe restarts when I right click on folders or files, and displays the following details:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BEX64
    Application Name: explorer.exe

    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2057
    Additional Information 1: 56f5

To be clear, this occurs when right-clicking or pressing the context menu key on files and folders only. It does not display an issue when right-clicking on the desktop or the recycle bin, or the taskbar even. Right-clicking in programs like Firefox shows no problem either. It is only on folders or files.

The only recent software addition I made was to add Lightning to the Mozilla Thunderbird Application, but this is not showing signs of a problem either.

I've run ShellMenuView, and see that a couple of items here have the File Name item as "%1" - which seems a little odd. Does this mean they are bad links and I should remove or disable them? For example:

    Menu: runas
    Extensions: .exe
    Menu Key: runas
    File Type: exefile
    Type Description: Application
    Disabled: No
    Extended Mode: No
    Modified Time: 14/07/2009 04:53:38
    Filename: %1
    Command: "%1" %*
    Description:

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks all
    mere

Perhaps you can try an SFC Scan

Performed an SFC Scan for verifyonly and (happily) it did not find any integry problems. Interestingly though, I can't right-click to start command prompt as administrator. Luckily, I already am logged in as Admin. However, even using startmenu cmd [ctrl+shift]Enter forces explorer.exe to restart...

Still suffering same issue, might perform the full SFC scan and fix; but is it worth doing this if the verifyonly function found no errors?

Another interesting development - The rightclick context menu functions fine on the other user account on the same system (non-admin). So it is an error specific to my login... which is an administrator login.

I've now completed the full SFC Scan and it has found no errors.

Also, I tried altering another account to Admin rights and rightclicking for context menus, and this worked fine too. So it is something linked to my own account, regardless of whether it is administrator or not... I've done a full Avast scan, and that's clean too.

Can't confirm a full fix yet, but I think it might be something to do with an installation of MozyHome. Removing and rebooting to check...

Anyone else suffered this type of issue with MozyHome?
