To be clear, this occurs when right-clicking or pressing the context menu key on files and folders only. It does not display an issue when right-clicking on the desktop or the recycle bin, or the taskbar even. Right-clicking in programs like Firefox shows no problem either. It is only on folders or files.
The only recent software addition I made was to add Lightning to the Mozilla Thunderbird Application, but this is not showing signs of a problem either.
I've run ShellMenuView, and see that a couple of items here have the File Name item as "%1" - which seems a little odd. Does this mean they are bad links and I should remove or disable them? For example:
Menu: runas
Extensions: .exe
Menu Key: runas
File Type: exefile
Type Description: Application
Disabled: No
Extended Mode: No
Modified Time: 14/07/2009 04:53:38
Filename: %1
Command: "%1" %*
Description:
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks all
