Chinese characters showing up as squares, never happened before
I just noticed that files with Asian characters started showing up as squares a few days ago. I've never had any issues with Windows 7 before in two years.
So I've tried the fix where I switch the Region and Language to Chinese and then back to English, but that was only a temporary fix. Once I turned the computer off, and turned it back on the Chinese/Japanese characters were gone and I got squares again.
So, can anyone help me? Thanks.
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. Service Pack 1 is installed, and I don't need to type in Asian languages. I just want programs to display the characters (like iTunes and Spotify).
