    Encrypting USB flash drive

Hi , I encrypted a USB pen drive and it's all fine. I'm concerned though if encryption increases the chance of file corruption over time, i.e. if eventually I won't be able to have access to the files due to file corruption.

    Hello Antares,

If will not affect the chances of file corruption any more than normal use without using BitLocker. However, I would strongly recommend to use the Save or Print recovery key again option in Manage BitLocker at step 11 Option One for the USB to be safe. This way you will be able to have as a backup to use to recover the USB if ever needed.

Hi Brink, thanks for your reply and good to know that it won't add any chances of corruption. I forgot to add that I used TrueCrypt (3rd party app) and not BitLocker. I guess your comment also applies to TrueCrypt as well.
