Make start menu search display everything

Before, when I would type anything into my seach menu, pretty much everything on the computer would show up, now only certain things do. I did the properties, display all folders, etc and it is doing the same thing. How can I fx this?

No word on this, I am not sure if I was clear with my explanation. I am not looking to have more "accurate information" actually, I am looking for scattered information. I want to be able to see everything. I used to just type in "the" and anything in my pc with that name in it would show up, now even it I start to type a proram, a document, or a movie, only some will appear. I want to show everything when I search in the start menu search bar.

    Hello Mike,

From the tutorial I posted above, see if having your Search options set like below may help. :)

Just press the shift key +* when the Search field has the focus and Windows will list various categories that will show all the shortcuts to everything on your computer when the category header is expanded.

The screenshot below gives you an example of what you'll see.
