    damn! ok is there ANY way to get more than 4 ram cards on my motherboard with socket 1155?

    If that, is in fact the case, you are going to need a lot more than $500. And please keep in mind, there is no such thing as "future proof". We can help you put together a system that will be technology sound for about 4-5 years max for around $2k. Of course it's expensive, you're building a gaming rig.

    You don't need more than 4 slots. Period. At most you could conceivably need is 16gb of memory. And that is if you are doing serious video editing. Look at my system specs in my spec tab. I play BF3 on Ultra settings with 1080p resolution and get 60fps. My build cost me about $1800.

    i only have 500. i might be able to pull 600 but thats the maximum. maybe later i might be able to buy better components but i dont plan on moving out anytime soon haha

    Yes, that is a good start. Later on you can upgrade your processor to an i7 as well.
