    For you, the GSkill would be better. I use the Patriot for Overclocking purposes. Don't buy anything with the brand PNY attached to it.

    your cpu has a fan on it now. you will be removing the old cpu and fan and installing it onto the new motherboard. Thusly you will need new thermal compound, and the cleaning kit is not really necessary. Some Isopropyl Alcohol and coffee filters will do just fine.

    Yes, just take off the cleaning kit. Might be a good idea to get an ESD wrist strap as well. And go pick up a rubber place mat to do assembly on as well.
