thats exactly what i thought! i actually only wanted a new motherboard for the 8 slots of ram but everyone told me that u can only have 4 with 1155 so i went with 4 so i guess i dont need a motherboard after all... ok then its still $120 for the psu and thwe ram, now is there any other components that i need for my pc? or can i spend the rest on a graphics card?

Not that I can see unless it's just for bragging rights.

Gamers say that 4 GB of RAM is enough for nearly all games.

You might consider not getting more RAM.

And then just getting the Seasonic PSU at 70 and then spend 430 on video.

I'm not the guy to ask about video cards. I don't have one.

Since you are going to put this on plywood, you don't need to worry about case fans.

I can't help you with that. I don't use video cards and don't pay much attention to them.

You can get this Newegg.com - MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card or this Amazon.com: Radeon XFX HD 6970 2 GB Graphics Card: Computers & Accessories around 400$ or little bit over like $20usd any one of those will max anything you throw at it. Both will play bf3 on ultra 1080p with 50-60fps enough juice for you? :P
