need some expert advice on how to spend my money i have $500 at my disposal to buy a graphics card and all the other nice stuff that my computer needs. my computer is completly stock except for one ripjaws 4gb ram card. the specs that ccleaner program conveniently put up is this: MS windows 7 home premium 64-bit intel core i5-2300 cpu @ 2.80GHz, 8,0GB RAM, Intel HD graphics family.
so far i think ive found what i want, its a combo deal for motherboard and graphics card Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!
i like the motherboard because of its 6 ram slots, and the graphics card because its better than my bragging asshole "friend" im not sure if this is the very best deal as i dont know if i will need anything else such as psu or fan or something else. so please help me out and tell me if im making a good choice | My System Specs |

Does your current motherboard support the graphic card you want? Like it has a pci-e x16 which is what you would need. Also what type of power supply do you have? Need to know this because if you buy this combo but your power supply doesn't work. Then you would also have to buy a power supply like one that cost around 60-70usd for a 500-600w power supply. So if you can give me your specs to better help you and also this is in 500 united state dollars currency correct or is it euros ect? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number me OS Windows 7 Home premium 64bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 925 (Deneb) OC 3.4GHz Motherboard M5A78L-MLX Plus Memory 8192MB RAM DDR3 1600 Graphics Card XFX HD 6870 1GB (Connected via HDMI) Monitor(s) Displays Polaroid TLAC-02255 22" Digital HD LED TV and 17"LED Monitor Screen Resolution 1920x1080 60Hz / 1280x1024 60Hz Keyboard Microsoft USB Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000 (IntelliType Pro) Mouse Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 PSU CORSAIR CX600 600w Case AZZA Orion 202 EVO with 3fans and a corsair af fan Cooling cooler master hyper TX3 cpu cooler Hard Drives 500gb hdd 7200rpm Western Digital Internet Speed 5.22Mbps download 0.65Mbps upload Antivirus Comodo Internet Security Browser IE 10 |

Lets, take a look at want you already have.
Download this utility. This will show what's in your computer. Speccy v1.16 Released!
This scanner shows the amount of RAM you have installed.
And the maximum amount of RAM your motherboard will allow. http://www.crucial.com/?gclid=CMPdw_...120323002928:s
Then post both scanner results here. Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
What do you use your computer for, such as? Gaming, if so, what games do to want to run?

Your CPU (I5-2300) is Socket 1155. It's incompatible. (Incidentally, the X79 board has 8 DIMM slots, not 6.)
The graphics card in the bundle is a good choice. It's likely that you won't need a new motherboard to accompany it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number homegrown OS Windows 7 Pro X64 SP1 CPU Intel Core I7-3930k Motherboard Asus P9X79 Pro Memory 16 GB Gskill DDR3-2133 Graphics Card eVGA GTX680 Sound Card Creative X-Fi Titanium Monitor(s) Displays As PA246Q Screen Resolution 1920 X 1200 Keyboard cheap Logitech USB Mouse Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (old optical) USB PSU PCP&C Silencer 750 Crossfire Case Silverstone FT02 Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives Corsair Force GT, 120 GB

Ye I would suggest getting a new power supply instead of a new mobo but I still need to know what kind of mobo he has since he didn't mention it so I could know what pins it uses for the mobo . And what power supply he has so I can know whether he needs a new one or not | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number me OS Windows 7 Home premium 64bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 925 (Deneb) OC 3.4GHz Motherboard M5A78L-MLX Plus Memory 8192MB RAM DDR3 1600 Graphics Card XFX HD 6870 1GB (Connected via HDMI) Monitor(s) Displays Polaroid TLAC-02255 22" Digital HD LED TV and 17"LED Monitor Screen Resolution 1920x1080 60Hz / 1280x1024 60Hz Keyboard Microsoft USB Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000 (IntelliType Pro) Mouse Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 PSU CORSAIR CX600 600w Case AZZA Orion 202 EVO with 3fans and a corsair af fan Cooling cooler master hyper TX3 cpu cooler Hard Drives 500gb hdd 7200rpm Western Digital Internet Speed 5.22Mbps download 0.65Mbps upload Antivirus Comodo Internet Security Browser IE 10 |

well i guess maybe i can start out with 500 then maybe get an extra 100 in a 3 weeks or so but for now what would i need? i want the twin frozr iii (or better for the same price) the motherboard with 6 ram slots (or more) so i can fit more 4gb ram chips and the psu, but can i just buy the motherboard itself then in a few weeks buy the psu and graphics card? also in the combo deal, will the mobo and gfx card work together with the psu? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 home premium need some expert advice on how to spend my money problems?
