    Is it safe to delete my windows.old folder?


    So i have just upgraded from windows 7 (32bit) to windows 7 (64bit) and the windows.old folder and the windows.old.000 folder take up a lot of memory but it is safe to just delete them?

    If you do not need anything in it, then yes it's safe to delete it. :)

Hi, im just wondering if it's safe to delete the roaming folder at: C:\Users\User\AppData my roaming folder is taking up a lot of space, 35 gb to be exact.
I recently just re-installed Windows 7 because basically it became very corrupt, now it's no longer corrupt and I have a Windows.old folder and I was wondering if it's even necessary to have it now? So is it safe to delete it? Because it consumes A LOT of space on my computer.
Hello, I got a usb 250gb hdd, and its got a folder called $recycle.bin My question is, can i just delete it and have no problems? Thanks and tell me if you ever did it before.:mad:
i have a user name john, whose appdata\windows folder properties shows 1GB file size, but when i select all subfolders and right click properties, it only shows 500MB. can i delete the this appdata\windows folder or not?????????????????
