Possible. If you're sure you followed the steps we gave then there isn't really much more you can do. They will charge you $100 just to copy out the files which you can retrieve yourself using the method I gave you if they haven't been corrupted.

By deleting the Recovery partition off of the computer without first making Recovery Disks then you limited your choices. You can order them from Dell, or Clean Reinstall which is a superior install anyway if you do it right by following the steps I gave you.

You have a Dell Reinstallation DVD, correct? That may be all they'd send you anyway. If it is older than two years then you need the newer installer linked in the tutorial to have SP1, which will save hours of updating time.

    this might be the problem,
If there is more than 1 partition marked "Active" that will cause WinRE to not be able to complete the repairs properly as the active flag is the designation of where the new boot files are to be created, if so the other partitions will have to be marked as "Inactive" for the repairs to be completed.

i didnt make one of the partition inactive. i should try this.

You can try it but only one partition per HD will mark Active anyway.

Nevertheless I would try marking Win7 partition Active and running Startup Repair again anyway.

Try also SIW2's command one more time.

What are you talking about here. What previous hard drive ? I think you should just reinstall. Delete all partitions during the setup.

Do you wnat to reinstall ???
if i reinstall, ALL my dad's works are gonna be gone, then hes probably gonna panic.
In your first sentence you say MY COMPUTER, why would your dad have files on your computer ?
