Question about pricing and family pack

    I am living in UK.
I do have two computers, running Windows XP and Vista.
I wish to buy a family pack for clean installation on both. But I cannot see an option to buy Windows 7 Family pack Home Premium for full installation. I found only family pack for upgrade.

I play a lot with computer and I may crash the whole system, so I like full installation on all computers so that I can reinstall from scratch.

    Thank you for advice.

You can do a clean install no problems the first time you use an upgrade disk.. Just be sure you use imaging software to create a disk image in case you bork your system...

You can preform clean installation with upgrade disks.

You can indeed do a clean install with the upgrade disks.

The only time you'd run into a problem is with a 100% blank drive. You'd need to put Vista or XP on first and activate, then proceed with Windows 7 as you want.

And if you do play around a lot, it's not a bad idea to do a backup image immediately after you install and activate, and then you can restore that anytime you need to go from zero on that computer.

Of course if you are really playing around with things a lot and need the convenience of repeatedly reinstalling different things, you might even be one of those who'd just want to look into a Technet subscription depending on how you're using stuff.
