    Unable to delete Defraggler shortcut on Desktop Win 7


    I uninstalled Defraggler but can't remove the desktop shortcut by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut to delete. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hello Aaron,

    What's it doing when you try? Any error messages?

    You might see if refreshing (F5) the desktop, or restarting the computer may get rid of the shortcut if it's just a ghost.

    If not, then open a "Open" or "Save as" type dialog. For example, open Notepad, and click on File (menu bar) and Open. Next, navigate to the desktop to see if you may be able to delete the shortcut in the "Open" dialog.
