    "Dwm.exe-No Disk(harddisk)" Error -How to Fix This? Help.


    Just got my pc repaired, installed new windows and this is what i get. Please tell me how to fix this on my own i beg you!

    Are you saying that message is what you got instead of Windows booting up?

    No,when i start my windows it starts perfectly then i constantly keep getting this error i cancel it and it comes again and again. Help plz.

    So, it boots from the hard disk, and you get into Windows, and then you get an error that you have no hard disk that you just booted from? A clean dwm.exe process is the Desktop Windows Manager. However, it also comes as a virus masquerading as that process.

    If you're not running Antivirus, I suggest you start (with something like Microsoft Security Essentials or Avira Free). Boot your computer into safe mode and run a scan.

    OK thanks i will just install a free antivirus and run a boot time scan. BTW- this is the error"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive /Device/Harddisk2/DR7. Everything in windows works fine just this error keeps disturbing me. I will reply after the scan
