    Hard Disk problem

When I boot my computer it takes about half an hour to start.
Also when window starts D: is not been shown and not accessible.
Some applications are not starting,Windows setup files is not working, unistallation of applications is not working.
Even when I tried to format my hard disk using windows boot up, New window installation just kept on showing message that Windows is starting.
Can someone tell me what problem is there in my Laptop.

    Try booting into Safe mode.

    Safe Mode

    Then perform a System restore.

    System Restore

And, if that does'nt help try a Repair Install.

    Repair Install

To check your Disk for Errors

Tried everything you mentioned but nothing worked
System restore is not getting started nor does the installation from installation disc proceed, just keep on showing loading temporary files
D: is not accessible so when I right click on D: explorer hangs n then have to restart windows explorer

Connect your hard disk as Slave in another PC and format it.

Test your HD with maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan, followed by a full Disk Check from Win7 DVD or Repair CD System Recovery Options Command Line.

If HD is OK then wipe the HD using this method and Diskpart Clean Command: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Then follow these steps to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 and which are roughly the same for retail.
