My wifes computer files when I do the sfc /scannow at 4% the log shows no file names that I can discern. I have the family upgrade pack and its since been further upgraded to SP1.

I have deleted the previous Logs and used the scan one time to show the following:

I cannot used the disc that I upgraded with as it is not SP1 to do a system repair. I do have a usb backup hard drive but am unclear to as what sequence I should proceed.

Any help or ideas are welcome. TIA!

You can find the latest official installer ISO with SP1 here, as well as steps to clean reinstall if it comes to it: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

If SFC cannot repair damaged System files after three attempts, then you can use the latest DVD to Repair Install.

Are there performance issues related to these errors, or what has led you to scan for them?

Actually the only thing is slow home group access. This is the Main! Computer in the home. And it's the wife's so you all know what I am talking about here. Something is wrong but it works ok.
