| | Why can't I view the taskbar when I have windows maximised? I have the taskbar on auto hide. Also, if I have the window near the bottom of the screen and I activate the taskbar it goes partially behind the window!  #firstworldpainsBit annoying that, is there something wrong with my settings? |

| | Turn off auto hide, there is no reason to use it. If you want a full page view just hit F11. |

| | Yes I quite like that setting, might give that a trial. Still would like to know if there is something I have set incorrectly that is causing the aforementioned glitch though. Thanks for the suggestion. |

| | It's a 1600x900 screen so I have it set to that, not sure how that could be the problem. Also don't know what you mean about taskbar on top, I had it set to the bottom of the screen, I guess that's not what you meant though. Can't see any options in the options for setting to be on top ie. in front of windows that are open. |

| | Sorry i thought there was a setting to always keep it on top, the other question are we talking laptop or desktop because 1600x900 is not a res i'm familiar with. I always use the hide taskbar on my desktop and never have that problem, but i don't use the option to go full screen, i just drag the corner to full screen. |

| | Laptop- Sony Vaio. 1600x900 is the recommended setting, which makes a lot of sense seeing as that is the resolution of the screen |

| | Earlier version of Windows DID include a setting, Always on top, meaning in front of other windows. On top of whatever was on the screen, not the top of display. Best Wishes, RȘnce |
