Could it have to do with your screen resolution you have, sometime's if it's an odd res, might cause problem.

It's a 1600x900 screen so I have it set to that, not sure how that could be the problem. Also don't know what you mean about taskbar on top, I had it set to the bottom of the screen, I guess that's not what you meant though. Can't see any options in the options for setting to be on top ie. in front of windows that are open.

Sorry i thought there was a setting to always keep it on top, the other question are we talking laptop or desktop because 1600x900 is not a res i'm familiar with. I always use the hide taskbar on my desktop and never have that problem, but i don't use the option to go full screen, i just drag the corner to full screen.

Earlier version of Windows DID include a setting, Always on top, meaning in front of other windows. On top of whatever was on the screen, not the top of display.
