Explorer.exe (I guess) freezes

    Hi Bernardo -

    Try running SFC a few more times to see if any System files still need repair.
    Alternate method: SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot

    Or continue with Repair Install if you've already commenced it.

    I've got a problem with the dvd, since I have a windows 7 dvd in English and my laptop is using a Portuguese language, so it doesn't let me update it! how to I run the cmd without starting safe mode?

    does the windows keyboard key open start for you?

    Microsoft keyboard shortcuts might help unitl you get a stable system.
