In addition to the above advice, check to see if the programs are listed in windows explorer. Go to
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu and see if the programs are listed there. The folder ProgramData is hidden. Make sure you have set hidden folders to be visible. If the programs are not there go to
C:\Users\User Name here\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
If the programs are not listed in either of those folders even when hidden files are set to be visible, try scanning for malware using Malwarebytes Anti-malware.
