Black themes sends my cursor all over the place...

I have a 2 month old tablet pc and when ever there is a black or very dark theme the cursor goes nuts. the black theme on this site for example or watching a movie in full screen.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the touchscreen.
this was also an issue with vista premium that i just recently upgraded from (clean install with win7 ultimate).

any help or ideas would be greatly appreciate.
    Cheers
    Paul

my first thought would be that your possibly overheating. my second thought is that maybe your battery is going south. im not really "in the know" with tablets, so i dont really know how you would test for such issues...

are there any other symptoms? such as shutdowns or, delayed application start up times?

Since this occurred with more than one OS, then it is most likely a hardware problem.

Perhaps the touch screen is incorrectly set?

    yes i did Lordbob,
since everything on this computer works perfectly and right on target with the touch screen to anything.... i would assume it has nothing to do with a Hardware issue... i would assume it would be software related.

    that's for the help Lordbob

    OK.....
Well, I said that because it has happened with two different Operating Systems, which means that it is most likely hardware related.

Now, by tablet PC, do you mean a tiny little computer like this:

Or more of a laptop like this:

Alright, so this is an actual laptop. Cool.

Now, are you drivers all up to date?
