Cannot change (EBCDIC) codepage for Non-unicode programs
Hello,
Some weeks ago, I had to change system locale for non-unicode programs from Slovak to Russian, because of some problems with legacy software. Later, I have switched back to Slovak. I have rebooted and everything seemed to be fine, but ... I've noticed, that slovak/czech programs do not work properly and still using Russian codepage even if windows is showing that current locale for non-unicode program is set to Slovak.
Re-setting of this option did not work, so I've downloaded some diagnostic tools and it shows:
"User Locale"
Code Page = 1250 (ok)
Default OEM Code Page = 852 (ok)
Default EBCDIC Code Page = 20880 - This is suspicious, because this is Cyrillic (Russian) code page and I think that this can be a problem. On other computers is this set to 500 (full Latin-1-charset)
So my question is: how can I change EBCDIC code page in windows 7 (for example in registry)? Or how can I reset all these settings to windows default?
Thank you for an answer!!
