H E L P - Open windows started minimizing at an angle uncontrollably

Yesterday any / all open windows on my computer (including the desktop) started to minimize and display at an angle. I can click on one of the minimized windows and bring it back up full screen but it will again minimize at an angle without warning and for no apparent reason. Any thoughts on what is causing this and how to stop it?

Without knowing what you've been doing on the computer, what you've been downloading/installing/etc, I can only guess you've got some sort of virus/malware.

no new program installed. McAfee virus protection is up to date and I just completed a full system scan . . . no issues found. I also did a "system restore" to previous date and that did not fix the problem.

It sounds like "Flip 3D" has somehow gone berserk, would be my guess as the cause. I have no idea how to stop it. You may want to try a Google search on "Flip 3D unusual behavior" and see if any results match your situation.

    Yes . . . you were right. I was Flip 3D

Hello and THANKS for pointing me in the right direction. It was an issue with "Flip 3D". I had never heard of Flip 3D before but from your suggestions I did a little research and found examples of the "stacked" windows were exactly what I was experiencing. It ended up being one of the buttons on my keyboard that caused the issue. I was able to find that short cut button on the keyboard and deactivate the Flip 3D function. THANKS again for your brilliant response to my cry for help.
