Yesterday I received 2 updates for Windows and 1 from Sony dated 4/21/12.
Anyone receive the same ? Back to the future ?
Should note I did a system restore about 2 hours prior.
Click on the clock in the bottom right and see what it says. If it is ahead, click "change date and time settings", then click on Internet Time, then click on "change Settings." then click update now.

Clock and calendar are and have been at current time.
Like I mentioned, this may have been effected by a system restore about 2 hrs prior ?
Exactly. Either your living in a parallel universe 10 days ahead of me or your system clock isn't set up correctly. As windude said, sync your time with windows internet time and you'll be good to go.
And no, system restore doesn't restore/affect time.
EDIT: have you checked the bios? Is time correctly set there?

Also, it could be some random glitch. Or, your clock wasn't on time when Windows Update ran and it caused that, then later on, it updated with the Windows Time servers.
