Nice to hear that about Paragon.

An easier way to link User folders is to browse to where you copy them on storage drive, rightclick to add to related Library - Include a Folder - Windows 7 Forums. This can avoid permissioning issues which may arise.

For the record:

What specific Paragon application did you use and what version?

I assume this was a clone rather than an image/image restoration?

It was paragon hard disk manager 12.
Yes its a clone, copies (unless you choose not to) all partitions with it.

I took a look at Paragon site and see that that is a "suite", for $50.

I assume you used the 30 day trial version and did not pay?

I'll try to remember which product you used for future cases where posters need such an app.

Yeah it has a 30 day trail that from what I could see so far, is fully functional. It worked great for my case.

Yep that's it! Looks like Paragon Hard Disk Manager™ 12 Suite is just a combination of all their products. All that's really needed for for this is their "Migrate OS to SSD" program alone.

Do you think it's safe to delete all the files from my 1.5TB drive that copied to my 750GB Hybrid Drive now?
Any proper way to do it other than select all and delete?
I do plan on using the free space to make a windows backup (unless you have a more preferred backup software?).

Be sure to keep the original files long enough to know you've copied everything over. Many users like to keep some or all of their User files on storage drive and link them to the User folders using the easiest method - rightclick and add to the relevant Library - Include a Folder - Windows 7 Forums so they all appear when you open Documents, Pictures, Video, etc.

If you want to try Windows Backup let us know how it works for you as we hear little about it: Backup User and System Files

I personally drag the active User folders to my backup drive periodically. If you need a more up-to-the-minute backup you can easily sync to the backup HD using SyncToys, or use the very cool new Live Skydrive which stores a copy of anything you put in its folder in the cloud and syncs to any backup or other device.

I'm sure others will share backup methods, too.
