    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

So where is the recovery disk?

If you haven't got one or have not made it then do you at least have the Product Key? If you have then please download an ISO image of your version of Windows 7 from http://www.mydigitallife.info/offici...digital-river/. Please make a Windows 7 Installation DVD from it and use it either for recovering or clean re-installing Windows 7 using your original Product Key.

Please make sure that you download the version you were using and not some other version, otherwise this procedure shall not work.

If yours is a Laptop then the Product Key would be on a sticker stuck to the base of your laptop. Please write it down and keep it safely. If a Desktop then it shall be somewhere in the manuals that you received with the Desktop.

    Kindly check.

The first thing that you should do is to copy it very carefully on a piece of paper and preserve it even more carefully.

The next thing to do would be to download the ISO image of your version of the Windows 7. You have not given out your version in the system specs so I do not know it but you should be knowing it.

With these two tasks done you should prepare a Windows 7 Installation DVD next. That done tell us about it so that we may proceed further.
