how to set a schedule task to run chkdsk

I tried to to set a schedule task to run chkdsk with a batch file, such as follwoing:
    echo y|chkdsk C: /F /R
    shutdown -r
I run it on cmd.exe it needs administrator privilege. I run cmd.exe as administrator, then it works.
I tried to run it on schedule task and set run by a administrator type user. It won't work. By run at demand in schedule, it won't work as well.

    datactrl:

I use a little utility called chkdskall.exe. You can get it here: ChkDskAll

I'm sure this could be called from a batch file.

I just want to add that you can go Start-click Computer-right click Hard Disk Drive-Properties-Tools-Check Now in Error Checking and put a check mark in Scan for.....then Start. It will tell you it can't do it now do you want to schedule for next start-up select yes then restart computer. Just another option, no disrespect to rap33042. :)

When I have trouble with a Scheduled Task I found it helpful to Enable Task History.

    In Task Scheduler:
Click on "Enable All Tasks History".
    Run the Task.
Open the Task Properties window and click on the History tab.

If there was an error, it should be displayed here.

Here is an example of the Task History info.
